Her Story
A life that shone brightly
Keva Garg was a bright, kind-hearted young woman whose life, though far too short, touched everyone around her. Born and raised in Canada, she carried her Indian and Chinese heritage with pride — a joyful bridge between cultures, warm and gracious to all.
An outstanding student at the University of Toronto Schools, Keva pursued her passion for medicine with remarkable dedication. While still in high school she published research as a first author, served as a national officer with HOSA Canada, and founded community initiatives during the pandemic. Her dream was to become a doctor — to heal, and to give back.
Those who knew her remember her contagious enthusiasm, her humility, and her willingness to help anyone in need. She was, as her friends lovingly called her, “little miss sunshine.”
Keva is deeply loved and dearly missed by her parents, Ajay Garg and Tian Zhou, her extended family, and all whose lives she brightened. Her legacy endures — in the memorial scholarship bearing her name, in the lives she touched, and in our hearts, forever.
